Michele K. Feinzig has been practicing law in South Florida for over 30 years. She began her career at a prestigious Fort Lauderdale law firm practicing civil and commercial litigation. Early in her career, she had the opportunity to handle one of the firm’s appeals, and immediately became captivated by the practice of appellate law. She loved the intellectual challenge of analyzing a trial court record, researching issues for appeal, and writing a persuasive brief to an appellate court. Appellate practice was the perfect fit for Ms. Feinzig, who has always excelled at analysis, persuasion and writing.
For the past 25 years, Ms. Feinzig has focused her practice exclusively on civil appeals and litigation support. She has handled appeals in all five of Florida’s District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Through her many years of practice, she has handled appeals and provided extensive litigation and trial support in a wide range of civil and commercial cases in diverse areas of law, including automobile negligence, premises liability, negligent security, medical malpractice, insurance litigation, consumer rights, foreclosure, probate, guardianship, labor and employment, fraud, breach of contract, condominium actions, administrative actions and family law matters.
Ms. Feinzig prides herself on being thorough and meticulous in her analysis and research, and compelling in her writing. She is highly responsive to clients and attorneys who entrust her with their appeals and is proud to have assisted law firms in Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade Counties in complex personal injury and commercial cases. When Michele K. Feinzig, P.A. is retained to handle an appeal or provide litigation support, Ms. Feinzig will personally handle the work, as the firm does not employ law clerks or associates.
Ms. Feinzig graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, having attended on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. She is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®. She has been admitted to practice law in Florida since 1988 and is an active member of the Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association (of which she chaired the Appellate Practice Section for several years), the Florida Justice Association, the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association and the Broward County Women Lawyers’ Association.
